Logo Design + Branding

A logo is more than a symbol; it’s the visual manifestation of a company’s identity. A powerful weapon, it communicates the brand’s essence, values, and personality. Creating a good logo demands a delicate blend of creativity, strategy, and simplicity.

PROCESS

Discovery:

  • Understand the business, industry, values, and target audience.
  • Gather information about preferences, vision, and any specific requirements for the logo.

Research and Inspiration:

  • Research competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Seek inspiration from various sources, like design books, online galleries, and relevant design trends.

Conceptualization:

  • Brainstorm and sketch multiple logo concepts. Focus on representing the brand’s essence, values, and personality.
  • Explore visual elements, typography, and colour schemes that align with the brand’s identity.

Digital Rendering:

  • Select the most promising concepts to develop further.
  • Create digital versions of the chosen sketches using design software.

Initial Designs:

  • Develop several initial logo designs based on the refined concepts.
  • Experiment with different layouts, typography variations, and colour combinations.

Feedback and Iteration:

  • Present the initial designs for feedback.
  • Incorporate the feedback to refine the chosen design, making adjustments and modifications as needed.

Colour and Typography Exploration:

  • Explore different colour palettes that resonate with the brand’s values and target audience.
  • Experiment with typography to find a font that complements the logo’s visual style.

Refinement and Finalization:

  • Continue refining the chosen design based on feedback.
  • Ensure that the logo works well across different sizes and applications.

Mockups and Presentation:

  • Create mockups in real-world scenarios, such as business cards, signage, and digital platforms.
  • Present the final logo design in a visually appealing and professional manner.

Final Approval:

  • Obtain final approval for the logo design.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the logo align with the vision and expectations.

Delivery and Brand Guidelines:

  • Provide the finalized logo files in various formats (vector, raster, colour variations, etc.).
  • Create brand guidelines or a style guide that outlines proper logo usage, colour specifications, and typography guidelines.

Launch and Implementation:

  • Support implementing the new logo across various touchpoints, both online and offline.
  • Monitor the logo’s performance and gather feedback from the client and audience.

* The design process may change based on the specific needs of the project and the client’s preferences. Effective communication and collaboration throughout each stage are crucial for a successful logo design process.
